Recipes 4 Learning Transition Program

The Recipes 4 Learning Transition Program offers those with autism and other Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Developmental Disabilities (DD) a two-year, non-credited transition program where they can gain job skills, social and daily living skills training.

Those with IDD/DD, aged 18+ and have completed high school can apply.  Transition planning will be for 4 hours per week. After being interviewed and found eligible, applicants will begin the job skills training to meet the goals for success, as outlined below.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in a caring and engaging environment within the food industry. Participants can expect to be a part of production for a variety of baking related food and products, such as the Recipes 4 Learning Baking Educational Kits that we create for elementary schools to teach learning in a fun way. We also provide production services for local businesses.
